Quality Exercise
Getting enough quality exercise each week seems to be the hardest of the three major components of long-term health to accomplish. Taking time to eat is already in our normal routines. However, exercise is obviously not. And, finding a place to add it into our daily or weekly routines is difficult.
We can no longer afford to allow our children to be trapped in a family routine that does not include exposure to quality exercise. Each family must make it a high priority to expose their children to fun, affordable quality exercise on a regular basis. Parents must provide their children with fun, routine, quality exercise. It's even more beneficial if parents can participate in that exercise with their children.
It is very understandable why adding exercise into the daily and weekly family routines is difficult. Most parents are working. The cost of being a family has forced most families into a position that requires two full-time family incomes, making it very difficult to add other activities into the daily and weekly schedules. One solution is to team up with other parents who have children the same age. By teaming up with other parents to form a small Parent (fitness) Group, a rotating schedule can be arranged in which each parent can take turns picking the kids up to take them to a park to play games. Having four families in a Fitness group, with four children who are the same age, seems to be the best size. With four families in the group, each parent can be responsible for one week each month. And, with four children the same age, there are a lot of running games that can be played that are a lot of fun.
Youth ЄNDURO Sports, Inc. was established to help parents provide their children with fun, affordable quality exercise. YЄS-Єxercise™ is the primary program developed by Youth ЄNDURO Sports™. For more information on activities that can be organized in your area, go to: www.yesathletics.org.
